When Sunday didn’t feel special,
Because every day was fun.
Yet it felt extra special to
Go for night drives with the whole family,
Stressing only over choosing flavors
Between ice creams and spicy chaats.
Finding magic in the smallest things—
Like watching clouds drift by,
Waking early, full of joy,
To collect shells along the seashore,
Or collecting pamphlets left behind
.Just staring at the open water,
Just sitting idle without a care,
Excited for simple family dinners,
Counting down days until a birthday,
And finding chocolates in my pockets
Now it all fades, leaving tears in my eyes,
Writing this in my teenage years,
Knowing my childhood was
Always so special!
